  • 200100-21 Instruments and Techniques to Control Natural Environment, Substances, Materials and Goods

Skills A graduate should be able to solve the following types of professional problems:
  • mathematical (computer) simulation and optimization of objects on basis of developed and already available research- and design facilities, including standard and special-purpose software applications;
  • choice of an optimal method and working out a procedure of experimental investigations; choice of technical facilities, carrying out measurements and processing results;
  • protection of priority and novelty of obtained research results;
  • setup, tuning and testing of certain devices and systems;
  • application and development of new educational technologies, including computer- and distant learning;
  • analysis of scientific-and-technical problem' state, analysis of requirements specification and goal-setting at device design;
  • design and construction of systems and units;
  • manufacturability estimation of engineering solutions, development of work processes of assemblage and control of device units and parts;
  • participation in mounting, setup, testing and commission of pilot models of devices;
  • development and application of manufacturing processes and techniques, quality control of devices and systems, their components and coatings;
  • participation in finishing and mastering of device manufacturing processes during work preparation;
  • management of research-and-production team work: scheduling and execution control of research works;
  • finding optimal decisions in manufacturing process;
  • engineering supervision and quality control of device manufacturing.
Duration of study Basic study programme includes studies for BSc degree in respective study area (4 years) and a 2-year specialized training for MSc degree.
After graduation A graduate may continue his studies for PhD degree mainly in the following research specialities:
