Izhevsk State Technical University provides training to foreign undergraduate- and postgraduate students. The training is full- time for undergraduates and may be full-time or part-time for postgraduates.
All lectures are given in Russian, so a foreign student will probably have to take a one-year course of Russian at the university.
The coming students are accommodated in a hostel for foreign students, quite comfortable.
To be enrolled to an undergraduate course of the university, candidates should pass entrance examinations in Russian, physics and mathematics.
Candidates applying for a postgraduate course should pass entrance examinations in speciality, philosophy and a foreign language (English or German). A candidate is enrolled to the postgraduate course after an interview with his future research supervisor.
After exams are successfully passed, a student signs a contract for training, where all rights and duties of the student are defined.
