Competition in programming starts at ISTU
On September 11, 2013 XII Sport Intelligent Competition on Programming starts at Kalashnikov ISTU.
The program includes game rounds, problem analysis, lectures of scientists, presentations of sponsors and cultural program. According to the results, the winners will be traditionally determined not only in overall ranking, but in individual categories and tournaments: sponsors’ prizes (NPO “Computer” and SKB Kontur), and the holders of the Cup of the President of Udmurt Republic which will take place for the third time).
One of the sponsors of this competition is company “Yandex”. A lecture of the company’s representative for the participants is planned.
The applications for participating in the competition have been received from:

The hosts of the tournament, as usual, participate with several teams. According to the Head of the Center of Programmer Training for Olympic Reserve V. Tarasov, the application from Kalashnikov ISTU was formed under the results of the university open championship in the early September. It was won by the pupil of Lyceum No 41 Konstantin Semenov, who few months earlier won the gold medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics among schoolchildren in Australia (IOI-2013). The best results among students in championship at Kalashnikov ISTU were demonstrated by Dmitry Sutygin, Artem Maksimov, Roman Poskrebyshev, Roman Lebedenko and Denis Tatarinov. These guys and participants of the Final of ACM ICPC-2013 Ruslan Gatin, Nikita Burlakov and Boris Smirnov will defend our university in the Olympiad.
The competition will be officially open on September 11 at 15:00 in room 420, build. 2 of Kalashnikov ISTU. The names of winners will be announced on September 21.
