Visit to China

phoca thumb l img02Developing and strengthening of international cooperation in education are the priorities of the university.

In the middle of March 2013 A.V. Elensky, Vice Rector for International Relations and Accreditation, had a working trip to People’s Republic of China. The purpose of the visit was the attraction of Chinese schoolchildren and students to study at our university.

During the trip, A.V. Elensky visited a number of Chinese schools and colleges, where he presented the study programs and environment at Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University.

Wide Chinese audience discovered Kalashnikov ISTU as a prospective, rapidly growing institution of higher education, satisfying the international standards.

During the visit the following documents were signed:

- Agreement of cooperation, joint development and scientific exchange with Huazhong Agricultural University;
- Framework cooperation agreement with educational work group “New East” (Beiging, China) and Russian-Chinese Foundation of Culture and Education (Moscow), which are engaged in selection, training and further practical training of students abroad.

Kalashnikov ISTU once again confirmed the status of stable university attractive for foreign students.

We are ready to welcome new students from China!
