Delegation from Kazakhstan

On April 09, 2013 our university hosted the delegation from Kazakhstan headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation Galym Orazbakov in the frameworks of their visit to the Udmurt Republic.

The delegation visited the research center “Innovative techniques of material processing” and had the discussion with the university administration.

Rector Boris Yakimovich informed the guests about the research and educational achievements of Kalashnikov ISTU, international cooperation, relations with industry and student life.

The ambassador pointed out that the majority of international students in Russia came from Kazakhstan – 25,000 students in different higher educational institutions.

Mr. Orazbakov proposed to arrange the presentation of our university in Kazakhstan and expressed the hope that in the nearest future Kalashnikov ISTU will have new partners in Kazakhstan.
