The results of the National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic for the academic year 2013-2014 have been published. Among the holders of the scholarships funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic are three representatives of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University.

In the category “Master student” out of 8 scholarships (which were provided for the candidates all over the world) 2 were granted to the graduates of the bachelor program “Management” – Ekaterina Kniazeva and Elena Lavrenteva.

In the category “PhD student” the scholarship was granted to a PhD holder of the Department of Life Safety Robert Shadrin (scientific supervisor Boris Sevastyanov, DSc, Prof.) who defended his PhD thesis in May.

The National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic is intended to support mobility of foreign students, PhD students, university teachers and researchers to stay at Slovak universities and Slovak research organizations. Beginning from September 1, 2013 our scholarship holders will start their studies and research work at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava of the Slovak University of Technology. The scholarships and subsequent studies and research work are the result of the double master study programs in Industrial Management and Integrated Safety developed and signed by Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University and Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava of the Slovak University of Technology in February 2013. In future the list of double study programs will be extending, thus providing undergraduate and postgraduate students, teachers and researchers of our university with the opportunity to obtain scholarships and participate in mobility programs.

The next stage for applicants of the National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic will already start in the coming autumn and last till October 31, 2013. More detailed information is available at the Department of International Education and Cooperation (bld. 5 of Kalashnikov ISTU, office 1001).
