Kalashnikov ISTU took 65th place in the rating of the best universities of Russia

Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University took 65th place in the rating of Russian universities according to the rating agency “Expert RA” and re-entered the top 100 Russian universities.
Preparing the rating, statistical indicators were used, surveys among 7,500 respondents (employers, representatives of academic and scientific communities, students and alumni) were conducted.
Kalashnikov ISTU is the only university from the Udmurt Republic, presented in “Expert RA” rating.

The purpose of such rating is to assess the ability of universities to provide graduates with the high quality knowledge and skills.
The rating is based on the analysis of three main indicators: conditions of qualitative education in university, the level of need for university graduates by employers and the level of research activity of university.
In 2014 Kalashnikov ISTU takes 83d, 44th and 55th positions on these indicators respectively.
Let us remind that our university entered to the first rating of the best educational institutions of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), prepared by rating agency “Expert RA” this spring (2014).
Results of the annual rating of Russian universities were discussed at the second international forum of CIS universities “Global Competitiveness” which was hold on June 5 in Moscow. ISTU was represented by vice-rector for international relations and accreditation Aleksandr Elensky.
