International Conference dedicated to nanotechnologies will take place at Kalashnikov ISTU

Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University is hosting V International Conference “From Nanostructures, Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies to Nanoindustry” on 2 – 3 April.

Organizers of the conference are Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, Ural Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Udmurt Basic Research Center of Ural Division of Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Mechanics of Ural Division of Russian Academy of Sciences, Udmurt Regional Branch of Scientific and Engineering Public Community, National Association of Nanoindustry, Regional Center of Nanoingustry of the Udmurt Republic, Russian Nanotechnological Community, OJSC “RUSNANO”.

The Conference program will comprise the reports of Russian and foreign scientists from large research centers. The Conference scientific program covers the production of nanostructures, nanomaterial science, investigation of nanostructures and nanomaterials, development of prognostic apparatus for obtaining and investigating nanoproducts, as well as the application of nanoproducts and nanotechnologies in different fields.

Aim of the Conference – to discuss the modern achievements in nanomaterial science and nanotechnology, and challenges in nanoindustry development in Russia.

Apart from plenary reports, there will be computer demonstration of poster and distance reports and also the round-table discussion on the results of mastering nanotechnologies, semi-industrial and industrial production of nanocomposites and nanomaterials and practical implementation of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in different fields, including medicine and agriculture. It is expected that during the round-table discussion there will be presentations of representatives from industry and research and manufacturing associations. It is planned that the exhibition of modern equipment for research of nanostructures, nanosystems, nanomaterials and nanotechnological installations and complexes of well-known instrument-making companies will be arranged.

The conference “From Nanostructures, Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies to Nanoindustry” will be opened on 2 April at 10.00 in room 4, bld. 1 of Kalashnikov ISTU. Registration of the participants starts at 9.00.
