Kalashnikov ISTU received the quota to teach international students on the state-financed basis

Following the results of public contest among educational institutions of higher professional education under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Kalashnikov ISTU joined the rank of 52 HEIs granted the preferential right to enroll foreign nationals and stateless persons, including compatriots living abroad, within the quota on the education fixed by the Russian Government. Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University was given the quota of 27 students to be accepted to master programs.

Kalashnikov ISTU is the only HEI of the Udmurt Republic among the contest winners. The right to enroll foreign nationals on the state-financed basis is a very good indicator of the level of international activities and it contributes to the export of educational services and strengthening of relations with foreign partners. Today in the frameworks of cooperation agreements Kalashnikov ISTU develops cooperation in education, research and academic exchanges with over 35 foreign universities and organizations from Europe, Asia, Near East and Africa.
