Kalashnikov ISTU in Russian university rankings in 2015

Kalashnikov ISTU is again among one hundred top Russian universities according to ranking agency RAEX (Expert RA): our university took the 69^th position.

Ranking agency RAEX with the initiative and support from Foundation of Oleg Deripaska “Volnoe Delo” worked out the fourth annual ranking of Russian universities. The agency applied to complex research and used statistic factors, as well as a lot of interviews with 17,400 respondents: employers, representatives of academic and scientific pools, students and graduates.

Basic criterions of RAEX ranking are the conditions for getting a high-quality education, employability and level of scientific and research activity.

Top-20 of universities has been the same for 3 years. The first position in the ranking is again taken by Lomonosov Moscow State University. In top-20 there are 11 universities from metropolitan area, headed by Lomonosov Moscow State University and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Saint Petersburg State University, Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, two universities of Tomsk, two universities of Novosibirsk and three federal universities – Ural, Siberian and Kazan.

Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University took the 69^th position in RAEX ranking against the 65^th position the year before.
