Instrumentation engineering in XXI century. Integration of science, education and production
On November 22 the traditional International Conference «Instrumentation Engineering in XXI century. Integration of Science, Education and Production» started its work at Kalashnikov ISTU. The organizers of the international forum, which is already held for the 13th time are the Faculty of Instrumentation Engineering, Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics and Department of Physics and Optical Engineering.
The participants of the plenary session were welcomed by Prof. Valery Grakhov, Rector of Kalashnikov ISTU, who stated, in particular: «…over 60 foreign scientists from 12 countries of the world take part in the conference and the International Forum «Instrumental Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications» to be opened on November 23, where English will be the working language. By the way, Kalashnikov ISTU is the only university in Privolzhsky Federal District which educates students on study programs in English».
Dr. Albert Abilov, Dean of the Faculty of Instrumentation Engineering informed that 6 workgroup discussions of the conference and Forum «Instrumental Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications» will be arranged on November 23, followed up by summing up and closing the conference. All in all, 157 reports will be presented at the conference, 24 of them – at the international forum. The forum participants are foreign scientists and their colleagues from two dozens of Russian cities. The best reports will be published in the conference proceedings – in English and Russian.
The representatives of partner organization of our university, namely, branch of OJSC «Rostelecom», LLC «IIKP», LLC «New Engineering Technologies», MBEI SE «Station of Young Technicians» of Ustinovsky District of Izhevsk, OJSC «Izhevsk Radio Plant» made the presentations at the plenary session.
