Rector of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University signed the agreement on cooperation with Belarusian-Russian University

On October 10-12 V Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia under the aegis of the Council of Republic of National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation was held in the city of Mogilev (Republic of Belarus).

An important element of the Forum program was the panel discussions in five main areas: agricultural policy, unification and harmonization of legislation, digital economy, youth policy, international activities and economic security.

The delegation of the Russian Federation included representatives of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the chamber of young legislators at the Federation Council, youth public organizations and Federal Executive bodies. Rector of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University Prof. Valery Grakhov was among the members of the Russian delegation.

Prof. Valery Grakhov made the presentation «On the upbringing of a citizen» at the panel discussion «Youth policy». He indicated that the duty of the older generation with experience is to preserve memories and traditions, transfer them to young people in the future. One of the successful joint projects of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University with Belarusian colleagues is an international run of Victory. It helps the young generation to get acquainted with the history, feel patriotism and take responsibility for future generations. The event is becoming more and more large-scale and well-known year by year, and our common task is to expand the territory of this project.

In the course of the Forum Rector of Kalashnikov ISTU signed the agreement on cooperation with Belarusian-Russian University (Mogilev). This technical university conducts educational activities both in Belarusian and Russian study programs. Now, within the framework of this international agreement, students of Belarus and Russia will be able to study under the double degree program.
