Rector of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University visited Brest

Rector of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University Prof. Valery Grakhov took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 1000^th anniversary of Brest city foundation with the delegation from Izhevsk.

The leader of the delegation was the Head of Izhevsk Oleg Bekmemetyev. On September 5 the II Economic Forum of Twin Cities and Partners of the City was held. It was attended by representatives of 40 delegations from 18 countries.

During his visit to the Republic of Belarus, the Rector visited the memorial complex «Brest Hero Fortress». Communicating with the staff, Prof. Valery Grakhov noted that the students of Kalashnikov ISTU fondly remember the visit to the Brest Fortress in 2018. For you information, in the framework of XV International Student Athletics Run, the complex was visited by ISTU students headed by the Rector.

The issue of «Voctory Run» was also discussed at Brest State Technical University. Two rectors – Prof. Valery Grakhov and Prof. Alexander Dragan discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two universities. During the conversation, the top officials of the universities talked about joint projects of scientists and participation of BrSTU students in the international student athletics run. Now students from Brest will become permanent participants of this run.
