International Conference in Poland
Dr. Yury Karavaev, Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Mechatronic Systems of Kalashnikov ISTU took part in XV International Conference «Dynamical Systems – Theory and Application” (DSTA 2019) in Lodz, Poland with the presentation entitled «Spherical robot dynamics at periodical controlling effects and fluctuations of the underlying surface». These researches are conducted in the frameworks of research project «Dynamics of mobile robotic systems under the action of variable dissipative forces» supported by the Russian Science Foundation (project supervisor – Dr. Yury Karavaev).
According to Yury Karavaev, during the conference he got acquainted and communicated with leading world scientists in the field of investigation of nonlinear systems, vibrations and friction, they exchanged the experience in research, publication and educational work, discussed the plans of joint grant applications.
Besides, he visited the Department of Automation, Biomechanics and Mechatronics of Lodz University of Technology, met the head of the department and discussed mutually beneficial and perspective ways of cooperation in the field of science and education, in particular, joint researches and publications.
After the conference Yury Karavaev visited Leuphana University Lüneburg,Germany– our partner university for over 20 years. He had a meeting with Prof. Anthimos Georgiadis and Dr. Michael Schubert. They discussed current joint research projects implemented by both universities, plans of short-term student mobility programs and courses, points of interaction for participation in joint grant programs.
