Meeting of the Udmurt Branch of Association of International Students
The meeting of the Udmurt branch of Association of International Students of Udmurt Republic (AIS UR) took place on 24 May in the conference room of Kalashnikov ISTU.
The agenda covered the following issues:
- report on the work done,
- election of the President and core group of AIS UR,
- discussion of the activities.
International students of all UR universities could participate in the meeting online. Thus, about 50 international students from Kalashnikov ISTU, Udmurt State University, Udmurt State Agricultural University, Glazov State Pedagogical Institute and Izhevsk State Medical Academy took part in the event.
The participants were welcomed by Issa Shaabo, the President of AIS RF. He expressed gratitude to our branch for their fruitful work, pointed out their contribution to the development of the common activities in the interests of all international students of RF.
The President of AIS UR was elected after the open voting. It is a 3-year student of the Institute of International Study Programs Elshimi Youssef Hassan Mamdouh Zaki. After that the core group of AIS UR was approved. It comprises students from all universities – participants of the meeting.
The meeting results were summed up by Alexey Ryabchikov, Director of the Institute of International Study Programs, who also pointed out the activities of the core group of Glazov State Pedagogical Institute and support of its administration, wished success and fruitful work to the new members of AIS UR for the benefit of all international students of the Udmurt Republic.
