Participation of Kalashnikov ISTU administration in the meeting with General Consul of Vietnam in Yekaterinburg

viet-0In April Izhevsk hosted the working meeting of representatives of Udmurt universities with the delegation of General Consulate of Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Yekaterinburg, during which the Udmurt universities were presented with the focus on study programs and study opportunities for international students.

Our university was represented by Acting Rector Aleksandr Gubert and Director of Institute of International Study Programs Alexey Ryabchikov.

In her address, General Consul of Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Yekaterinburg Nguyen Mai Huong highlighted the interest in cooperation with Udmurt universities, especially in such perspective fields as IT, semiconductors, medical biotechnologies, pedagogy and agriculture.   Minister of Education and Science of Udmurt Republic Svetlana Bolotnikova expressed her confidence in developing fruitful collaboration in education and science between Russia and Vietnam.

The results of the meeting will help Udmurt universities to define the steps for implementing joint Russian-Vietnamese projects and programs, thus contributing to strengthening international cooperation.
