Cultural exchange between Chinese students and Izhevsk schoolchildren

On April 18 the secondary school No 90 of Izhevsk hosted the event focused on arranging the dialog between Chinese students of Kalashnikov ISTU and pupils of Izhevsk schools with advanced learning of some subjects. The guests from China shared their knowledge of rich culture of their country: they spoke of Chinese history, etiquette nuances, traditional costumes and peculiarities of the national cuisine. Besides, they conducted master classes in calligraphy and Chinese songs.  

In turn, Russian schoolchildren shared their knowledge of Russian culture: they spoke of traditional cuisine, household peculiarities and explained such notions as «ogorod» and «dacha». The bright moments of the event were the joint singing of the song «Kalinka-malinka» and stories about the forthcoming holidays – Easter and Victory Day.
