Department of Communication Networks and Telecommunication Systems was established in 1998 to train specialists in the fields of electrical communication; automatic switching; telecommunication systems and networks; multichannel systems of information transfer; digital communication systems; radio-relay, laser and space communication.

• System analysis and information processing in info-communication systems
• Strategic planning and management at communication enterprises
• Regularities of info-communication development and service quality in data transfer networks
