Department of Computer Software was established in 1969.

In the process of studies the students:
  • obtain deep knowledge in computer science and computer mathematics, system and applied programming, organization of computers and networks, complexes and networks, operation and programming systems, databases and instrumental means for software development, system analysis and machine modeling, decision-making and management, data processing systems and AI;
  • study languages: Turbo Pascal, C, C++, Visual C++, Java, Turbo-Prolog, Assembler, database and AI languages;
  • master modern IT:
    • development of software with complex data organization;
    • object-oriented and visual programming;
    • logic and functional programming;
    • work with databases and their design, SQL-technologies;
    • Internet-technologies;
    • development and automation of design of applied, tool and system software;
    • CASE-technologies;
    • development of dialog software systems;
    • computer graphics and graphic dialog;
    • design of linguistic processes, translators, compilers and intellectual interface;
    • AI;
    • neural-computer systems;
    • anti-virus protection, cryptography;
  • obtain necessary knowledge in economics, management, marketing, accounting, production organization, business and commerce.

  • development, classification and investigation of solutions of Olympiad problems in programming
