Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University is among TOP 500 universities of the world

12 logo2Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University entered TOP 500 best universities of the world according to the international professional ranking of universities “Global World Communicator” (GWC) and hold 461 position. In the ranking of the best European universities Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University took 220 position.

TOP 500 included 19 higher educational institutions from Russia. Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University stands in the same ranking with such Russian universities as Lomonosov Moscow State University; Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology; ITMO University St. Petersburg; MGIMO; Kazan and Siberian Federal Universities.

GWC ranking is prepared by the international Council of Scientists, whose experts are professors from more than 40 leading universities of the world. The Council is a non-governmental organization with the headquarters in Riga (Latvia). All experts of the international Council of Scientists are strictly selected: their scientific achievements, qualifications, reputation in the scientific world are taken into account. In 2013 the Council comprised five scientists from Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University.

It should be noted that Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University is the only university of the Udmurt Republic among Top 500 best universities of the world!
