International Symposium “Theory and Practice of Gearing”
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to take part in the International Symposium “Theory and Practice of Gearing” traditionally held since 1981 in Izhevsk State Technical University with the support of a number of authoritative Russian and International Organizations.
International Symposium “Theory and Practice of Gearing - 2014” will take place in Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University on January 21-23, 2014 supported by International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM), Russian National Committee on TMM and is devoted to the centenary of Prof. Faydor L’vovich LITVIN, the founder of the modern science of gearing.
About 100 Russian and foreign scientists are going to take part in the Symposium. Participation applications from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and also Japan, China, UK, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Serbia, Spain, Slovakia and USA have been obtained.
The Program of the Symposium includes 96 reports on mechanical engineering, mechanisms, robotics, mechatronics and adjacent areas within the theory, design, manufacturing techniques, application practice of gears and transmissions.
After the work of the Symposium an electronic edition will be published in 2014, also with all the papers which were not included into the Proceedings of the Symposium.
The exhibition of advanced samples in the field of gears and gearboxes will be organized along with the Symposium.
