“INNOVA-2014”: new format
Interregional youth scientific and educational forum “INNOVA-2014” with a foreign participation gathered the most curious, eager, aspiring young people of Russian and China in one place. From 3rd to 6th June on the bank of Kama river, in sport training center of ISTU students an ecological tent camp was located, it sheltered about 200 participants.
The forum was organized by Kalashnikov ISTU with the assistance of Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Udmurt Republic, Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and Federal agency for Youth Affairs.
About participants
This year students, young scientists and worker of Kalashnikov ISTU and its branches, Udmurt State University, Izhevsk Agricultural Academy, Izhevsk Medical Academy, International East European University, Nizhniy Novgorod State Technical University n.a. Alekseev, Kazan Research Technical university n.a. A. N. Tupolev took part in the event. And of course the participation of delegation of Harbin Institute of Technology (China) stands out against the forum.
The start of the Sino-Russian exchange program for young people was initiated at the forum “INNOVA-2014”. At the end of April, 2014 in Izhevsk bilateral agreement between Harbin Institute of Technology and Kalashnikov ISTU was signed.
The Chinese delegation, two future architects, first-year master students, Guo Fang and Liu Yi participated in the section “Design, architecture, building, housing and communal services” of the forum.
According to Guo Fang, they’ve never regretted this trip because there are no such events in China, but it would be: “We bought sleeping bags for this trip – well-prepared”.
Guo Fang noted that for many years China is interested in Russian culture. She thanked the organizers of the forum for the excursions. Girls visited the capital of Udmurtia – Izhevsk, saw the city and of course shot in shooting gallery from Kalashnikov gun. They are glad that they were able to talk to people; language barrier is not the problem.
Forum participants also plunged into Chinese culture: on the opening ceremony girl danced Chinese folk dance with kerchiefs.
The work of the forum was carried out in several sections: “Science, innovations, business”, “Educational section”, “Design, architecture, building, and housing and communal services”, “Mass media”.
Within the section “Science, innovations, business” more than 100 participants worked their projects during workshops from science and business representatives. The main purpose is to support the most successful and promising projects. Jury discussed 33 presentations of different areas: scientific and technical, business, social, media, housing and communal services.
Educational section was saturated. The following lectures and workshops were organized for the participants: “Tools to develop an innovative potential of a company”, “Creation of a legal entity. Advantages and disadvantages of different types of legal entities, used to promote innovative projects”, “Marketing plan. Risks of an innovative project and program to reduce them”, “Economics of innovative project” (including financial arrangements, funding sources, production plan and economic efficiency), “How to overcome the fear of public speaking”, “Professional aspects of a successful speaking in the face of investor”, “Technologies of innovative thinking”, “Leadership in science and innovations”.
In the section “Design, architecture, building, and housing and communal services” the first lessons of School of homeowners association was hold. Project aims to highlight the main aspects of management of apartment building, how to create and organize the work of homeowners association.
A single section also was for young journalists. Participants have heard specialized lectures: “Producing”, “How to write for the Internet”, “Language as a factor of survival of humanity”, “Social media marketing, or reputation management in the network”.
