International online-conference in ISTU: positive experience
From 24 to 28th June in the Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University an international online conference of young scientists “Energy saving, information technology and sustainable development” was hold.
Master students, PhD students, young scientists and engineers of universities and enterprises of different countries (Australia, Germany, Egypt, Nigeria, Cameroon) participated in the conference. Intotalthereareabout 50 participants.
The work was performed in several directions.
It should be noted that conferences with virtual participation are not popular like in Russia, because face-to-face participation gives not only the information exchange, but also the positive energy of people, interested in the general idea. It gives the birth to a partnership in science. In our case the holding of the conference with virtual participation caused by the need – not every participant registered for the conference, has resources to get to Russia.
Panvong Kuntanavat, Doctor of biological sciences, lecturer of the University of Technology in Thonburi (Bangkok, Thailand) tells:
- Essential qualities of young people, engaged in fundamental and applied development, are confidence and ability to take their colleagues, mutually adjust the directions of scientific researches not only in lecture room, but in a distance.
The first experience was positive and very successful.
