Partner universities discussed new cooperation areas online

1-236On December 7 Economic Engineering Faculty of Kalashnikov ISTU conducted webinar «Seeking the ways of collaboration between partner universities in globalization» with partners from Hungary and Slovak Republic.

Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, Széchenyi István University, Győr, Hungary and Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín, Slovak Republic have been good partners and friends for a number of years already. But it was the first online meeting of representatives of 3 universities. On the part of Kalashnikov ISTU, the representatives of university and faculty administration participated in the webinar.

2-250At the beginning Dr. Alexander Elensky, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Accreditation of Kalashnikov ISTU briefly presented the main achievements and activities in international cooperation of our university in 2015. After the addresses by colleagues from partner universities, Prof. Rail Galiakhmetov, Dean of Economic Engineering Faculty of Kalashnikov ISTU pointed out joint educational projects in the frameworks of cooperation and EU program Erasmus +. The partners exchanged the proposals, including the future meeting and work on the joint students’ aid in economic engineering sphere. It was decided to discuss the book concept, first, within the universities and then at the following webinar scheduled for the late January 2016.

Also Dr. Alexander Elensky invited the colleagues to participate in VII International Forum «Education Quality» to take place in February 2017 and dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University.
