Kalashnikov ISTU took the 50th position in the international ranking ARES-2017

Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University is again in the international ranking ARES-2017 where it took the 50^th position in BBB category.

European Scientific-Industrial Chamber has published the results of the international ranking of higher educational institutions – annual academic ranking ARES-2017. Its purpose – to evaluate the university performance over its  teaching and  research applying  Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) aiming at common understanding of quality assurance across borders and among all stakeholders.

Three HEIs from the Udmurt Republic got in the ranking ARES-2017 among 187 Russian HEIs.

Kalashnikov ISTU takes the 50^th position in BBB category, Udmurt State University – the 68^th position in BB+ category and Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy – 187^th in C+ category.

Based on the ranking results Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University was put into BBB category – «Reliable quality of education, scientific activity and employability of graduates» (Good quality performance).

The ranking main parameters comprise the indices of research activities, international cooperation, employability of graduates, informatization, etc. The ranking is processed automatically, thus excluding a human factor.
