BNTU: VI Forum of Engineering and Technological HEIs of Common State

On October 24 the VI Forum of Engineering and Technological HEIs of Common State was opened in Belorussian National Technical University in Minsk.

The Forum was supported by the Administration of the Common State, Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and was directed at the creation of interuniversity platform for the implementation of main directions of Russian-Belorussian integrative cooperation for the support of talented youth in education, science and innovations. The theme of the VI Forum – «Global Power Engineering: Partnership and Sustainability of Countries and Technologies».

This year the Forum has gathered representatives of 18 Russian universities, 8 Belorussian universities, as well as the delegates of higher schools from Poland, Ukraine, Spain, Egypt, Algeria, Lebanon and Germany. In the days of the Forum (24-26 October) there were round-table discussions, lectures, business trainings, presentations, evaluation of youth innovative projects in power engineering, energy safety, energy efficiency.

Representatives of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University also participated in the Forum. Prof. Valery Grakhov, Rector of Kalashnikov ISTU made a speech at the plenary session, and two our students made presentations of their projects at workgroup discussions.
