Center of additive technologies at Kalashnikov ISTU

On 9^th of April Prof. Valery Grakhov, Rector of Kalashnikov ISTU signed the order on establishing the Center of Additive Technologies at Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University. Andrey Balagurov, an alumnus of our university was appointed the Head of the Center.

The purpose of establishing the Center of Additive Technologies is, first of all, the development of scientific and innovative potential of the university. The main directions of work of the Center are as follows: development and production of 3D-printers with the required parameters; rendering services in 3D-modeling and prototyping for organizations and enterprises; rendering services in repair, service, modernization of 3D-equipment; training of specialists in working with 3D-equipment.
