Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University in the National ranking of universities – 2017

interfaxInterfax group, the largest diversified information group in the CIS and the leader of the Russian information market in B2B segment (development of professional products for media, government agencies, politicians and business with the help of modern IT solutions), published the next National ranking of universities - 2017.

A special project of the group "National ranking of universities" was undertaken in 2009 in order to develop and test new mechanisms for independent evaluation of Russian universities. Until 2010, the project was supported by Rosobrnadzor (Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science), but now it is being implemented as its own project with the participation of the radio station "Echo of Moscow". The total ranking includes 264 classic and specialized universities.

NRU2017 methodology takes into account the following parametric indicators: "Education", "Socialization", "Internationalization", "Brand" and "Innovation", for the evaluation of which the accumulated data is used, both from open sources of information and obtained in the course of direct survey of universities.

In 2017 Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University took 73rd position and beat out such technical Russian universities as Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev (KAI), Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, St. Petersburg National Research Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It should be noted that Kalashnikov Izhevsk state technical University is the only University of the Udmurt Republic, which entered the TOP 100 best universities of Russia!
