IV International Scientific Conference «Intelligent Information Technologies for Industry»

Ostrava-0From 1 till 7 December Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) hosted IV International Scientific Conference «Intelligent Information Technologies for Industry», which gathered scientists from Czech Republic, Russia, Poland, China, Belarus, Slovakia and other countries.

The representatives of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University also took part in the conference – Prof. Valery Kuchuganov, professor of the department of Automated Systems of Information Processing and Control and Dr. Denis Kasimov, senior research fellow of the Scientific and Educational Center «Intelligent Computer Technologies» who made the presentation entitled «Principles of Organizing Strategies of Content Analysis of Aerospace Images». The conference proceedings will be published in the journal «Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing» published by Springer and will be indexed in Thomson ISI, Scopus and DBLP.

Ostrava-1The main task of the conference was to exchange the experience in the field of development and application of advanced methods of automation, informatization and artificial intelligence in fundamental sciences and modern industry, as well as to develop international contacts in this sphere. A special emphasis was made on advanced intelligent technologies, namely – intelligent decision-making support systems, neural network technologies, multiagent systems, reasoning modeling technologies, image analysis, etc. 

The group of specialists from Saint Petersburg, dealing with the automation of forecasting of river floods, was interested in the works of our scientists. The established contacts open new perspectives for productive interaction, integration of efforts and works to solve urgent problems of aerospace monitoring and support decision-making based on the analysis of satellite images.
