The branch of Association of Foreign Students of Russia is established in Udmurtia

On February 19 the meeting of international students of Udmurt Republic was arranged. The aim was to make the decision on establishing the branch of Association of Foreign Students of Russia (AIS) in the Republic. The event was initiated by Kalashnikov ISTU.

The university representatives unanimously supported the idea of opening AIS branch, since the demand in uniting students to reach common goals on effective adaptation, integration, improvement of mutual understanding between international students of different universities, as well as the formation of communication procedure with administration, public organizations and governmental bodies is crucial today.   

The participants were welcomed by Adu Yao Nikez, President of AIS RF, Aleksandr Gubert, Senior Vice-Rector of Kalashnikov ISTU, Elena Nikitina, Head of the Department of Professional Education. Alexey Zagrebin, Tutor of the Expert Council on International Affairs in Education of State Duma of RF wished the Association successful and fruitful work in the best interests of international students of the Republic.

During the meeting, the branch vice-presidents and directorate members were elected. 

We hope that the branch establishment will contribute to creating the favorable educational environment for international students on research-educational, economic, regulatory, political and social levels.
