Eurasian Economic Youth Forum in Yekaterinburg

On April 19-21 Ural State University of Economics hosted IX Eurasian Economic Youth Forum «Russia and Regions of the World: Realization of Ideas and Economics of Opportunities».

Our representatives of the Association of International Students and International Students’ Club of Kalashnikov ISTU were happy to take part in this forum. 5500 delegates from 19 countries of the globe, including 12 regions of Russia, as well as 22 diplomatic missions of foreign states located at the territory of Russia participated in this event.

In the frameworks of six congresses of the forum – economists, innovators, service technologists, strategists and schoolchildren – there were lectures of leading Russian and foreign experts, foresight session, contests of research works and a rich social program.  

The representatives of AIS of the Udmurt Republic also took part in the meeting of ambassadors and students «Dialog between Equals» where they made the presentation on the results of several months of work of AIS UR.

There was also a very fruitful meeting of the Udmurt delegation with Mr. Adu Yao Nikez, President of AIS RF.

Inspired by the trip, the forum participants returned to their Alma Mater ready to implement and apply new knowledge to create a favorable medium for international students.

The forum was held under auspices of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Association of International Students of Russia, Government of Sverdlovsk region.
