2. Aim of the program

The program is designed to provide high-quality education and is targeted atERU students who wish to obtainBachelor degree of Kalashnikov ISTU in Info-Communication Technologies and Communication Systems and engineer specialist degree (B.Sc.) of ERU in Telecommunication Engineering.

3. Program structure

ERU students enrolled to Kalashnikov ISTU in the double degree program should have a study load equivalent to Kalashnikov ISTU 240 credit points according to their individual study plans. The total study period on the program is not less than four years. The distribution of educational courses (modules) between the partner universities and organization of student academic mobility is based on the basic curriculum.

To get each of the degrees, the students have to complete the whole study programs indicated in their individual study plans and to pass the final state evaluation. The students who have not passed the final evaluation or have not completed their individual study plan will get a study certificate listing the modules (courses) studied and practices, as stipulated by the university.

The graduation qualification paper can be made at any of the two universities in compliance with its rules and requirements. The supervisor is appointed at the corresponding university to supervise the graduation qualification paper. The graduation qualification paper is defended in front of the committee of the university (universities) whose degree (degrees) the student obtains.

4. Degrees awarded

Each partner university awards its own degree based on its own rules. Each university is responsible for its own obligations towards the students regarding the award of its own degree: Kalashnikov ISTU grants its bachelor degree; ERU grants its engineer specialist (B.Sc.) degree.
