Visa requirements

 

To get a Russian visa, you have to receive an electronic invitation from the university. The invitations are issued by Federal Migration Service within 30 days from the date of application. To issue the invitation, the following information / documents are required:

  1. Scanned copies of the first passport page and the page with dates of passport issue/expiry valid for at least 1.5 years from the date of entering the Russian Federation (please, send the copies as an attachment to inter@istu.ru).
  2. Copy of the receipt of paying the state duty in the amount of 800 rubles.

IMPORTANT: The invitation will be sent to you only after paying no less than 50 % of the tuition fee for one academic year. Please send us the fee transfer confirmation via the email.

Fill in the application form and email it to inter@istu.ru with the enclosed scan of international passport (pages 1 and 2) valid for at least 1.5 years from the date of entering the Russian Federation and scans of educational documents.

In case the educational documents are not available at the date of submitting the application form, their scans can be sent till August 25, 2020.

Application procedure

  1. Register at the website.
  2. Fill in the application form and email it to inter@istu.ru with the enclosed scan of international passport (pages 1 and 2) valid for at least 1.5 years from the date of entering the Russian Federation.
  3. Make the educational contract with us.
  4. Make a 50% prepayment to one of the university accounts given below (You should check the fee in Study Programs section).
  5. Pay the state duty in the amount of 800 roubles.
  6. Receive e-invitation.

 

Upon arrival to the university, a student shall submit the following documents:

  1. International passport and its notarized translation into Russian.
  2. Copy of the visa to the Russian Federation with the indication of the arrival purpose – «Studies at Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University», if the foreign national entered the Russian Federation with the entrance visa.
  3. Migration card issued when entering the Russian Federation.
  4. Medical certificate with the indication of vaccinations and HIV-free test.
  5. 6 matte photos 3 x 4 cm.
  6. Medical insurance to be bought upon arrival at bld. 5, office 800.

In addition

  1. If you want to apply for study programs after the Preparatory course you should have the Original of the document of previous education.

Study program and tuition


Foundation program

If you apply for study programs in Russian, we invite you to join a 1-year Russian language preparatory course (1080 academic hours). Additionally to Russian language, all the students can take the course of Civilization of Russia and preparatory courses on different subjects depending on the study program they chose:

  • engineering-technical (physics, maths, informatics);
  • medical (biology, chemistry, maths).


Dates

The Russian language course starts every year on September 01 – November 01.

Duration: September 01 (November 01) – June 30.

The deadline for the documents submission: August 31 (October 31).


Tuition fee

Tuition fee: 121,500 rubles.
