Department of Economics and Management was established in 1956. At that time it was Department of Economy in Industry and Production Management. 

Objective

The main objective – meeting the demand of the region for training modern economists and managers possessing knowledge and skills of their efficient application in the process of formation and implementation of strategies of company management, as well as training of engineering students in economics.

Tasks

- Provision of professional training of human resources in the field of crisis management

- Improvement of the level of training engineering students in economics and production management

- Development of Russian and international academic contacts with universities, institutes and specialists
