Let’s fight against flu together!
On 01 November the vaccination against flu was arranged. The first 59 international students living in hostel No 6 of Kalashnikov ISTU were vaccinated against flu. The students are well aware of the consequences of this dangerous disease and actively participated in this procedure.
Good-bye, autumn!
On 30 October hostel No 6 of Kalashnikov ISTU hosted the traditional autumn holiday. It was a real autumn ball with competitions, amusements, songs and dances. It was the positive energy boost for the students, which produced new emotions.
BNTU: VI Forum of Engineering and Technological HEIs of Common State
On October 24 the VI Forum of Engineering and Technological HEIs of Common State was opened in Belorussian National Technical University in Minsk.
International Cooperation
On 25 October Prof. Alexey Schenyatsky, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovations of Kalashnikov ISTU met with the participants of All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference «Humanitarian Education and Science in Technical University» from Germany and Austria – Thomas Daiber, Professor of Institute of Slavic Studies, Justus Liebig University Giessen (Germany), Juergen Fuchsbauer, Associate Professor of Department of Slavonic Studies, University of Vienna (Austria) and Simon Brenner, Research Fellow of Vienna University of Technology (Austria).
Excursion to the museum: visiting Pushkin
19 October is an All-Russian Lyceist Day. In the frameworks of this event, Udmurt Republican Museum of Fine Arts announced «Lyceist Week» from 16 till 22 October and arranged a very interesting exhibition «My Pushkin» dedicated to the great classic and the most well-known lyceist.
About Doctor Sherif
On October 11, 2017 Dr. Sherif Mohammed Helmy Abdel Soliman, Doctor Honoris Causa of Kalashnikov ISTU, President of Egyptian-Russian University would have celebrated his 76th birthday. Dr. Sherif was a key figure in collaboration of Kalashnikov ISTU with Egyptian universities – first, Helwan University, then – ERU.

On April 24, Director of Russian Educational Center Dr. Ali Waris Shah Syed visited Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University.
The Russian Education Center with the headquarters in Belgorod has been sending international students from Asia, Africa and China to Russian higher educational institutions for more than a decade. The purpose of the director’s visit was a more detailed acquaintance with the capabilities and potential of our university to teach foreign students in English, with educational programs and training areas that the university can offer, as well as the living conditions for future students.
